Part 3 | Saudi Arabia's Greatest Venue Will Always Be Its Culture

In my previous articles, I shared my thoughts on the future of Saudi Arabia's stadiums, entertainment districts, and the opportunity to create world-class destinations.

But the more I reflect on where the Kingdom is heading, the more I believe that our greatest competitive advantage isn't the stadiums we build.

It's our culture.

Saudi Arabia is investing in some of the world's most iconic sports and entertainment infrastructure. These venues will undoubtedly host FIFA World Cup matches, global concerts, international sporting events, and world-renowned productions.

Yet, what will truly make these venues unforgettable will not be their architecture.

It will be the Saudi story they tell.

Every visitor who comes to the Kingdom should leave feeling that they have experienced something they could not find anywhere else in the world.

Our heritage, hospitality, music, cuisine, craftsmanship, traditions, and the warmth of our people should not exist outside the venue—they should become part of the venue experience itself.

Imagine arriving hours before a major event and already being immersed in Saudi culture.

Traditional performances welcoming guests. Local artists and musicians sharing the Kingdom's creative identity. Saudi designers, artisans, and entrepreneurs showcasing their work. Authentic culinary experiences representing the richness of each region. Interactive storytelling that connects visitors with the history, heritage, and future of Saudi Arabia.

This is how venues become more than destinations.

They become cultural ambassadors.

As the Kingdom continues to attract millions of international visitors through Vision 2030, every event becomes an opportunity to introduce the world to Saudi Arabia—not only through what people watch, but through what they experience.

This is also an incredible opportunity for Saudi talent—our musicians, performers, creatives, filmmakers, chefs, and storytellers. They should not simply participate in this transformation. They should help define it.

Because culture is not an addition to entertainment.

Culture is what gives entertainment its identity.

I believe the future of Saudi Arabia's sports and entertainment sector will not be remembered because it built extraordinary venues.

It will be remembered because it built experiences that reflected the soul of the Kingdom.

That is a legacy no stadium alone can create.

And that, in my view, is Saudi Arabia's greatest opportunity.
